What 9Edits is
9Edits is an independent publication about clothing and how it fits. We publish articles and guides, and where relevant we link to third-party retailers. We are not a retailer: we hold no stock, take no payment, and fulfil no orders.
Purchases happen on the brand’s site
When you click through to buy, your purchase is made on the retailer’s own website, under their terms, prices, availability, delivery and returns policies. We don’t control and don’t guarantee price, stock, delivery times, or that any item will fit. Always check the brand’s own product page, size guide and returns policy before buying.
Your account
Keep your login details secure — you’re responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that are misused.
Links to brands
Links to products take you straight to the brand’s own website. Some are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects which products we show or how we rank them — see How we link to brands below.
Content & intellectual property
The site’s design, text and original content are ours or used under licence; please don’t scrape, copy or reuse them without permission. Product names, descriptions and images belong to the respective brands and are shown to help you discover their products.
No warranty & limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from purchases you make on third-party sites. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes & governing law

Who we are
9Edits (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates 9edits.com, a website that helps pregnant women discover maternity and pregnancy-friendly clothing from third-party retailers. 9Edits is based in Munich, Germany (postal code 80686). Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Account information: email address and password, when you create an account.
- Profile information you choose to provide: bump-shape selection, measurements (bust, waist, hip, height) and your week of pregnancy if you use the fit feature — all optional, used only to power on-site filtering and suggestions.
- Saved lists and favourites you create.
- Messages you send us via the contact form.
- Standard technical/analytics data: pages visited, filters used, and general usage patterns, via cookies and similar technology (see Cookies below).
What we don’t do
- We never sell your personal data to third parties.
- We don’t process payments or hold payment details — all purchases happen on the retailer’s own website, subject to their own privacy practices.
- We don’t share your measurements or bump-shape/trimester selections with the brands featured on our site.
How we use your information
- To operate your account, saved lists, and personalised filtering (bump shape, suggested size, trimester).
- To respond to messages sent via the contact form.
- To send account-related emails (e.g. password resets) and, if you opt in, week-of-pregnancy or product-update emails — always with an easy way to unsubscribe.
- To understand overall site usage and improve the service (aggregated/anonymised where possible).
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent for optional data (like measurements or marketing emails) at any time. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Data retention & security
We keep account, measurement and saved-list data only as long as your account is active, and delete it within 30 days of you closing your account. We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable hosting providers.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be noted here with an updated date.
How we link to brands
9Edits is a publication, not a retailer. Where an article links to a specific item, that link takes you to the brand’s own website. You buy there, under the brand’s own prices, delivery and returns — we don’t hold stock or take payments.
Some of our links are affiliate links: when you buy through one, we may earn a small commission from the brand’s affiliate programme, at no extra cost to you. Other brands we link to directly and earn nothing. Either way, this never affects what we recommend or how we write about it — we publish to be useful, not to maximise commission.
We gather products through brands’ official affiliate feeds and from brands’ own public websites. Product names, prices and photos are shown to help you find the brand’s pieces, and they remain the brands’ property — every piece links back to the brand.

Fit disclaimer
Every size and shape suggestion on 9Edits is a recommendation, not a guarantee. Suggestions are a best guess based on each brand’s published size chart, general styling guidance, and your measurements. Brands size differently and pregnancy bodies change quickly, so always check the brand’s own size guide and returns policy before buying. 9Edits cannot guarantee any garment will fit.
