We built the site we wished existed.
9Edits started with two friends, both pregnant at the same time, both worn out by the same thing: maternity shopping meant opening ten tabs, guessing at sizing, and hoping something arrived before it stopped fitting.
There's no standard pregnancy sizing — every brand cuts differently, weight lands differently on every body, and "just size up" isn't guidance. The good pieces are scattered across a dozen retailers, and finding them by hand is a part-time job. So we made the finding part feel human.
What 9Edits is
Honest, practical writing about dressing a body that is changing — through pregnancy, the months after, feeding, and going back to work. We care about fit as engineering rather than as a size on a label, and about clothes you will still want to wear in two years. We hold no stock and sell nothing.
What 9Edits isn't
We're a publication, not a retailer. We never hold stock, take your payment, or handle your order. Where an article points you at a particular piece, that link goes to the brand's own site, where you buy under their prices, delivery and returns. Some of those links are affiliate links, so we may earn a small commission at no cost to you; others earn us nothing. Either way it never changes what we recommend — we write to be useful, not to chase commission.
Every fit and shape suggestion compares your measurements against each brand's own published size chart, plus general styling knowledge — shown plainly, so you can decide for yourself with real information.
We're a small, independent team building this in the open, and we read every message. Found something wrong, or just want to say hello? Get in touch.
